From unforgettable SWEATlebrities to thrilling double dutch challenges and mesmerizing performances by NBA dancers, #PGSFest has been a continuous source of joy and inspiration. 10. Former Ambassador Receives A Sweatlebrity Award

Once a #PGSGSU Ambassador, Mecca Day reached a full circle moment in 2021 when she was honored with the coveted and esteemed SWEATlebrity Award at PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT’s 10-year anniversary celebration. After graduating from Georgia State University, Mecca has amassed an audience of more than 500,000, gone on to launch her own fitness program, create her own app, and co-found one of Atlanta’s best training facilities!

9. Vendor Village Highlights Local Black-Owned Businesses

The Vendor Village is a hallmark feature of every #PGSFEST. In the Vendor Village, attendees will find a large and diverse assortment of local, Black-owned businesses offering a wide array of goods and services. Pictured above is Vibe Ride, a Black-owned Indoor Cycling Studio that makes fitness fun with energetic and action-packed cycling classes! Originally based in Midtown Atlanta, after being featured at #PGSFest, the company has gone on to amass a following of 8,000 and open two more studio locations! Wow!

FBFBody Shapewear & Athleisure is a Black-owned business bringing you the highest quality shapewear and athleisure solutions at the most affordable price—not to mention the cutest styles, too! After being featured at #PGSFest19, FBFBody has garnered a following of nearly 200,000 and has been featured on platforms such as Good Morning America, The View, and Essence!
Bodied Athletics, photographed with owner GetBodiedByJ, is an athletic equipment brand that does it all! Offering everything from waist trainers, to apparel, to home goods and so much more, Bodied Athletics has something for every #SweatSister! After being featured at #PGSFest2019, Bodied has gone on to amass a following of more than 85,000 and open the doors to its very own boutique in Atlanta!

8. BET’s Urban Beauty TV Covers #PGSFest2019

In 2019, our annual fitness festival caught the attention of Urban Beauty TV and captured audiences nationwide! The network filmed the entirety of the event and sat down with our founder, Aeshia Devore Branch, to learn more about the story behind PGS. Check out some of the footage in the clip above!

7. Strutting Down the Confidence Catwalk

Surrounded by a group of loving and supportive women, the PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Fest Confidence Catwalk allows attendees to work what they’ve got, show us what they’re made of, and express themselves with no boundaries!

6. DSSD Studio Wows the Crowd with their Stepping Performance

Your favorite dance studio, DSSD, hit the stage at #PGSFEST2019 for a show-stopping performance! Since then, DSSD has amassed a following of more than 100,000 and has been featured on The Today Show!

5. The Atlanta Hawks Dancers Hit the Stage

Whether courtside or on the #PGSFEST stage, the Atlanta Hawks dancers know how to put on a show! After a mind-blowing performance, the Atlanta Hawks dancers made a generous donation of $1,000 to DSSD, sowing a seed with the next generation of dancers!

4. Double Dutch Aerobics takes us back to the playground and goes viral with PGS Sweatlebrity Toya Johnson-Rushing! 

Double Dutch Aerobics brought the schoolyard to Sweat Fest! Reminding us that fitness should be fun, Double Dutch Aerobics brought out the ropes at #PGSFEST2019 and even went viral when Toya Johnson-Rushing hopped in! Check it out in the video above!

3.  Laila Ali Accepts Her SWEATlebrity Award virtually

In 2021, PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT honored WNBA icon Laila Ali with a well-deserved Sweatlebrity award! Accepted virtually, Laila Ali hopped on camera to express words of gratitude and encouragement for PGS and attendees.

2. NBA icon Kevin Durant Donates to the SWEAT MAKES CENTS Jumping Jack Challenge

In 2019, the Kevin Durant Foundation made an extremely generous donation to the SWEAT MAKES CENTS Jumping Jack Challenge, offering a whopping $7,500!

In 2017, the inaugural PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Festival was launched at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta, GA. Hosted by actress and founder of Sporty Girls Inc. Rashan Ali and Grammy-nominated artist Keri Hilson, this event would become the #PGSFEST that we all know and love today.

On this day, PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT also made history by announcing its unique Sweatlebrity Award, the first award dedicated to honoring women in fitness.
