Tell us how your winning photo came about:

I was contacted by an organization called Blackfitnessgirls on IG a few months prior who asked me to be a part of their 2024 Black fitness girls Calendar, and my boyfriend is actually a photographer and did the honors of taking a few photos for me which came out amazing.

Please briefly share your fitness journey with us:

My journey started with me. I was overweight, depressed, and living an unhealthy life. I decided enough was enough, and it was time to regain control of my life. I didn’t know where to start, so I got coaches and trainers to help me on my fitness journey. From there, I found a community of like-minded people on the same path of getting healthy. Through my hard work and dedication, I discovered a new love for fitness, a love that I want to share with others.

We believe fitness + friendship = FUN! What is your favorite group fitness workout?

Bootcamp or group-styled workouts.

While working out is essential, so is eating the right foods. What is your go-to pre-workout meal?

Salmon, white rice, and broccoli.

How do you refuel after a workout?

Fueling my body with healthy foods and getting rest for recovery. Here are few things I eat:

• Protein Shake with banana & peanut butter
• Overnight oats with banana or strawberry
• Avocado toast with egg
• Greek yogurt and berries

What is one item that is always in your gym bag?

Tripod, lol!

What are the top three goals you hope to accomplish in life?

I want to become a full-time trainer, own my gym, and help as many people as possible throughout my journey.
