No weights are needed, but use a chair for balance and be prepared to break a SWEAT.

NARROW V

This move will tone your entire leg, especially your inner and outer thighs. First, draw heels together and turn your legs out, so your toes are about 4 inches apart in a narrow “V” position. Then, with your shoulders stacked over your hips, bend your knees into a narrow plié. Next, press heels firmly together as you hover them slightly off the floor, coming onto the balls of your feet. Repeat for 40 seconds.

REAR LEG LIFT (L + R)

Stand behind a chair at arm’s length with your feet should be hip-width apart. With your knee slightly bent, slowly hinge your torso forward until your upper body is parallel with the ground. Hold on to the back of the chair for support, and slightly bend your elbows. Raise one leg as high as you comfortably can without going above your hip. After lifting your leg up, lower it back down, and bring your knee towards your chest to activate your abs. Repeat on both legs for 40 seconds each leg.

BOAT POSE

Sit tall on the floor with hands behind your thighs. As you inhale, draw your legs in, and as you exhale, tighten your core to keep your balance and reach your arms out into a wide “V.” Don’t forget to keep your abs pulled in toward your lower back, your shoulders wide, and breathe. Repeat for 40 seconds.
