You know that friend who makes fitness look fun, fabulous, and actually achievable? That’s Tori B. She’s 29, raised in Mobile, AL, based in Atlanta, GA, and has us seriously rethinking our wellness routines. This certified Pilates/yoga instructor and aesthetician isn’t just about reps and recipes—she’s about radiance. Between glute days, plant-based meal preps, and prepping for her women’s wellness retreat in Costa Rica (no big deal), Tori still finds time for group workouts with friends and a swipe of lip gloss before hitting the mat. Iconic.
Tell us how your winning photo came about.
Tori: “The photo was taken by my photographer, QishandaLaree (@thespiritualloc), who’s also the lead facilitator of the women’s wellness retreat I’m co-hosting in Costa Rica this July. We wanted to capture divine feminine energy—what we call a ‘goddess vibe.’ It reflects the strength and softness we hope to nurture at the retreat.”
Tell us about your fitness journey.
Tori: “It started as a desire to feel good in my body. It turned into a way of life rooted in empowerment, discipline, and joy. Becoming a yoga and Pilates instructor, a stretch therapist, and wellness bodybuilder has given me tools to help others feel strong and confident too. Movement transformed me—physically, mentally, and spiritually.”
What’s your favorite group fitness workout?
Tori: “Anything that combines movement and connection! I love high-energy classes, hot Pilates flows, hiking with friends, or even team workouts and arcade-style games. Movement is more fun with your girls by your side!”
What’s your pre- and post-workout fuel?
Tori: “As a vegan wellness bodybuilder, my meals are super intentional. Pre-workout, I go for a smoothie (banana, oats, almond butter, plant protein) or avocado toast with tofu scramble. After, I refuel with a combo like lentils, quinoa, sweet potatoes, and greens. All about that plant protein + complex carb combo!”
What’s always in your gym bag?
Tori: “My resistance bands—for glute activation, stretching, or an impromptu Pilates sesh. And lip gloss—because even when I’m lifting heavy, I’m lifting cute.”
