Atlanta Students Sweat With Purpose At Seviin Yoga

How did PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT kick off Women’s History Month? By sweating, of course! On March 2, an intimate group of our Atlanta sweat sisters gathered at Seviin Yoga to participate in their signature hot yoga class.

As guests trickled into the Kirkwood studio, they were greeted by PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT founder Aeshia DeVore Branch and Seviin Yoga’s owner LeNaya Crawford.

Before the class kicked off, sweat sisters mingled, shopped PGS merch, and set up their yoga mats.

Aeshia then welcomed guests and guided them through the PGS pledge. Guests also played a quick game of “Name That Yoga Pose” and two sweat sisters walked away with PGS totes packed with prizes.

Before the sweat session began, attendees also had the chance to snap a few group photos.

LeNaya then took to the front of the room to get the class started.

For an hour, she guided the room through a judgment-free heated flow that paired breath with movement and movement with music. The class’ workout playlist consisted of upbeat tracks like “Boasty” by Wiley, Sean Paul, Stefflon Don ft. Idris Elba, and “That Part” by Schoolboy Q ft. Kanye West.

The 60-minute session helped sweat sisters feel more energetic, more flexible, and more present. “It was an amazing class and I highly encourage everyone to join,” said attendee Taylor J. Another sweat sister, Joelle, said, “This class was awesome. It’s not just a physical workout but also a mental one which I really appreciated. I’ll be back.”

At the end of class, LeNaya passed out cool towels to help everyone refresh. Guests also had the chance to refuel with hint water.

The intimate class helped guests GET FIT + GIVE BACK, raising $355 for SWEAT MAKES CENTS‘ childhood obesity prevention programs! Thank you to all of our participants and shout out to PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT GSU for showing up in record numbers!
