There’s no shame, ladies! But, cheating on your workouts can prove detrimental for several reasons, so we wouldn’t recommend it. Before you skip a few reps, consider the following:

  1. Hindered Progression: Your trainer has tailored your workout regimen to help you reach your unique and specific workout goals. If you’re skipping exercises or even just doing a few too little reps, then you run the risk of hindering your fitness progression and missing out on the results that you want.
  2. Waste of Money: You’re paying your trainer for a reason. If you’ve hired a personal trainer, then you should want to get your money’s worth during your workouts. If you’re cheating during these workouts, then you’re wasting money instead.
  3. Lack of Discipline: One of the key benefits of a workout regimen is the mental and physical discipline that it creates. Maintaining a consistent workout regimen allows you to develop stronger discipline and follow-through, teaching you how to practice patience and persistence in the pursuit of a goal. However, when you cheat on your workouts and fail to give them your all, then you miss out on this opportunity for personal growth and character development.
