PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Fest ATLANTA celebrated its 5th anniversary in the best way possible—with the Ultimate Sweat Sisterhood Homecoming at Garden City Events in Atlanta, GA! This annual event has become more than just a fitness fest—it’s a reunion that unites women through movement, fun, and sisterhood every September.

From inspiring photo moments to a vibrant Vendor Village and electrifying workouts, #PGSFEST2024 was all about creating lasting memories while empowering each other to lead healthy, happy lives.

The energy kicked off strong as Bear Creek Middle School’s Honey Bears cheer squad led the opening routine, setting the tone with a tribute to the late Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan.

From there, the excitement never stopped! The crowd powered up with the high-energy vibes of POUND Fit, where Sweat Sisters rocked out with bright green weighted sticks, led by master trainer KaToya Sumner.

In the spirit of giving back, guests participated in the annual SWEAT MAKES CENTS Jumping Jack Challenge, raising funds for phenomenal female-led nonprofits. DJ Amber Alert played the PGS theme song, Keri Hilson’s “Pretty Girl Rock,” while PGS founder Aeshia DeVore Branch and host Christina “Ms. Basketball” Granville led the challenge. The sweat was real, and so was the impact! Thanks to our incredible sponsors, we proudly supported organizations like The Power of Girls, Fleet Dance Coaching, and Honey Bear Cheer.

Lachelle Metcalf of The Herrendorf Family Foundation shared valuable insights about the incredible grants available through their sister organization, Moms Offering More. She encouraged Sweat Sisters to take advantage of these recurring opportunities, designed to support and uplift women who are making an impact in their households.

No PGSFEST would be complete without our annual SWEATlebrity™️ Awards! What’s a SWEATlebrity™️, you ask? They are inspiring female celebrities, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts who share their active lifestyles and workouts on social media, motivating us all to lead healthier lives. Each year, we honor these incredible women who use their platforms to build uplifting communities.

Over the years, we’ve celebrated 43 wellness leaders, including Laila Ali, Rasheeda Frost, Keri Hilson, Riley Burruss, and more. This year at PGSFEST2024, we had the honor of recognizing 7 remarkable women, including Jené Marie, J’zotta Rolle, Leticia Gardner, Kayla Nicole, Samia Gore, Azariah McGowan, and Le’Sheala “Shea” Dawson, whose surprise reaction to winning our signature sweat drop award was priceless! The workouts were nothing short of empowering! HIIT The Beat brought the energy, combining strategic exercise with music for a fun, community-building experience. Sweat Sisters got Charg’d Up & Rowdy with Coach Coco-Chanel, fueling the room with high energy, while Coach Jessica Unique embraced a lively, spiritual vibe that left everyone feeling uplifted.

The intensity continued with Andrea Renee’s strength training workout, where colorful resistance bands took center stage, putting arms, shoulders, and backs to the test. Sweat Sisters felt the burn in the best way possible!

A standout moment? Mecca Day, former workout coordinator at PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT’S Georgia State University chapter, leading a high-intensity workout while glowing with her second daughter in her tummy! Talk about full circle—she and her Oh My Glutes squad brought the heat, and we all felt it!

Our Vendor Village was packed with female-owned businesses, including Pristein Protein, Be Your Own Skinny, Just Jai Wear, and Melt Mobile Infrared Sauna. Guests enjoyed shopping for wellness must-haves from PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT and indulging in tasty treats from food trucks like Ellis Isle Cold Pressed Cane Juice and Smooth N Groove.

Exciting activations such as Secret Garden Pole and Double Dutch Aerobics had everyone moving, laughing, and making new connections.

The day wrapped up with a peaceful cool down led by LeNaya S. Crawford, founder of Seviin Yoga, who guided the crowd through soothing sound baths and stress-releasing deep breathing exercises. It was the perfect way to close out a day filled with energy, empowerment, and sisterhood.

VIP guests were treated to some extra pampering throughout the day. They kicked off the morning with relaxing massages and a light breakfast consisting of Chobani Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, Bear Naked granola, and Nature’s Bakery fig bars. Post-workout hydration was provided by Propel Water, keeping everyone refreshed, while a delicious vegan spread catered by Crystal Shae satisfied their taste buds. To top it all off, VIPs toasted to an empowering day with Stellenbosch Hills, a delightful South African rosé. It was truly an experience to remember!

#PGSFEST2024 was a testament to the power of women coming together for a greater good. From lifelong friends to former interns flying in just to volunteer, this sisterhood is strong, and its impact is undeniable. We’re forever grateful to our incredible event partners—Propel Water, New Balance, Morehouse School of Medicine, Just Move Supplements, and The Black Hair Experience—for making this unforgettable day possible. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
