Atlanta Professionals Get Fit + Give Back at Sweat Cycle

At PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT, it’s no secret that cycling is one of our favorite ways to break a sweat. Over the years, we’ve hosted several high-energy indoor cycling classes at studios across Atlanta. On February 3, an intimate group of entrepreneurs, executives (including members of the Google team), and students gathered at  Sweat Cycle in Buckhead to take their hot cycling class.

Once guests arrived at the cycling studio, they were greeted by enthusiastic staff members and picked up their cycling shoes for the workout. The first and second guests to arrive received awesome swag and prizes.

Sweat Sisters then mingled, browsed through Sweat Cycle and PGS merch, and snapped cute photos with the motivational messages on the walls.

Founder of PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT, Aeshia DeVore Branch, then kicked off the exciting event with a welcome message where she gave a special shoutout to donors like Dawn Strickland and sponsors including hint. She then handed over the floor to PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT’s Georgia State University captain to share her experience as a health leader on her campus.

Attendees then posed for a group photo before heading into the steamy cycling room.

After the class wrapped, DeVore Branch gave away AMAZING prize packages to two lucky ladies. Chantel Jiroch walked away with an Origins beauty set and Takeela Reddrick won a PGS tote filled with some of our merch.

Aeshia then closed out the event by thanking attendees. Guests continued to network and snap more photos before leaving the studio.

100% of the event’s proceeds, $1,200, were donated to SWEAT MAKES CENTS to fund health leadership programs and wellness journalism scholarships at local PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT college chapters. For more information about SWEAT MAKES CENTS, please visit sweatmakescents.org.
