PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT brings together over two dozen enthusiastic sweat sisters, including presidents of the Spelman College and Georgia State University PGS chapters, to explore Atlanta’s latest fitness sensation – Sweat EXT. This infrared heated fitness fusion studio seamlessly blends Pilates, barre, yoga, and HIIT into a transformative 45-minute workout, setting the perfect tone for a healthier and happier 2024.

On a sunny Sunday, January 7th, participants gathered for a fitness fundraiser at the modern Sweat EXT studio located in Ponce City Market. The welcoming staff, combined with convenient parking validations, set the stage for an immersive experience.

To add a personal touch, guests including Grind Pretty founder Mimi J., wrote their favorite quotes on PGS notecards, creating a sense of camaraderie that lasted beyond the workout.

As the studio’s temperature soared to a cozy 85 degrees, Victoria led an invigorating workout complemented by a custom PGS playlist (see below), reminding everyone that moving our bodies is a blessing. The empowering mantra “Yes I Can” echoed through the studio, fueling determination and collective motivation.

Beyond the fitness session, Sweat Sisters took photos, purchased PGS merch, and engaged in a book swap, sharing their love for reading and fostering connections.

PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT goes beyond workouts; it’s a community that inspires and builds meaningful connections on multiple levels.

Also in attendance were vegan chef and author Jenné Claiborne, and celebrated wellness coaches Jaime Georgi, Brittany Thompson, Casey Michelle, and Egypt Taylor. Catch a glimpse of the experience in our captivating video recap and hear firsthand what the participants had to say about this innovative workout!
