Amber Gardenhire
“When my energy is feeling low, I lean into complex carbs. Your body turns the sugar in carbs into energy, so they are a great source of fuel before your workouts. My faves are protein pancakes, oatmeal with fruit, and avocado toast with eggs.”

Halani Lobdell
“When I hit a slump, these are the foods I use to re-energize: I increase my water intake and add lots of leafy veggies, especially spinach. I aim to eat more berries, such as strawberries, blueberries & raspberries. I also make sure to get a minimum of 8hrs of sleep each night.”

Brittany Thompson
“If I need energy, I want something fast and filling. My first go-to is a protein smoothie. I just throw in some fruit, protein powder, almond milk, almond butter, and a fiber supplement. My second choice is raw almonds.”
