How Turbo’s “Classy Girl” Became a Powerful Wellness Mantra for Supporting Women in Wellness
March 24, 2025 • By PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT
Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Turbo—whose chart-topping hits with Gunna, Travis Scott, and Lil Baby have shaped the sound of a generation—teamed up with PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT founder Aeshia DeVore Branch to turn his latest track, “Classy Girl,” into more than a song. Together, they created an unforgettable Women’s History Month celebration honoring Black women who are transforming their communities through wellness.

Picture this: You step into a sleek, sunlit Pilates studio buzzing with sisterhood, strength, and the unmistakable beat of Turbo’s “Classy Girl” echoing through the room. Cameras flash, juices flow, and some of Atlanta’s most inspiring wellness leaders gather—not just to sweat, but to celebrate their impact. This is the Classy Girl Pilates Experience, a joyful tribute to Black women shifting culture and strengthening communities.

Held at the Black-owned JETSET Pilates studio in Alpharetta, GA, this invite-only event brought together 14 of Atlanta’s top wellness influencers for a memorable moment of movement, empowerment, and honoring Black women entrepreneurs who are changing the game. And let’s just say—this was not your average fitness event.
Every element of the experience was curated with intention to support Black female-owned businesses—from the stylish apparel and refreshing juices to the thoughtfully designed decor, and even the talented photographer and videographer capturing every moment. Women of color were at the heart of it all, bringing this unforgettable experience to life.

After changing into limited edition PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT tanks and matching sets from DEFINE BOLD, guests sipped on fresh juices from woman-owned favorite Pure and Pressed Juicery before taking their spots on custom reformers for JETSET’s signature 50-minute class—a powerful mix of strength training, cardio, and Pilates-inspired movements that had muscles shaking (in the best way).

But this experience was about so much more than just breaking a sweat. It was about building community and shining a spotlight on the Black women-owned brands and executives shaping the future of wellness, sports, beauty, and self-care.

Each element of the day was rooted in purpose—from the Classy Girl Confessional, where guests like Shea Dawson, Senior Director of Athlete Relations & Partnership Development at Overtime Select, honored the “classy girls” who inspire them (think Eartha Kitt, Kelly Rowland, Tika Sumpter, and their moms), to the thoughtfully curated gift bags featuring products from Black women-owned businesses like Moodeaux, VitaStars, Pristine Protein, GeneLean360 and more.
And yes—there were plenty of mirror selfies thanks to branded decals reinforcing the “Classy Girl” mantra. Because when you’re glowing from the inside out, you document it.
