How Atlanta Beauty and Fitness Creator Jessica Fairnot Is Redefining Body Confidence

Beauty may be her business, but building strength, embracing self-confidence, and encouraging other women to prioritize their wellness have become an equally important part of her story.

Who says you have to choose between being a beauty girl and a gym girl? Jessica Fairnot certainly doesn’t see the need. At 30, she’s equally comfortable with a makeup brush in her hand and a challenging workout on her calendar. But behind the polished looks and playful gym content is a woman who’s learned that confidence takes more than appearances.

For Jessica, fitness has become a way to invest in herself beyond the mirror. Through her platform, The Miss Fit BBL, she’s sharing a perspective that isn’t always part of the wellness conversation: what it means to prioritize strength, consistency, and long-term health after cosmetic surgery. Her approach is personal, unapologetic, and rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to feel good in her body.

That same energy earned her a spot as a finalist in the October 2026 PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Instagram Photo Contest. Her entry featured a posed photo taken by a friend at PGSFEST2026, our annual fitness and wellness festival, where celebrating movement is just as important as celebrating the women beside you.

And while she has plenty to say about beauty and fitness, her ambitions extend well beyond both. As she puts it, “I want to become everything I’m capable of, and bring other women with me.”

Ahead, she opens up about the experiences that shaped her wellness journey, the workouts she can’t get enough of, and the kind of impact she hopes to make.

Tell us how your selected photo came about.

This photo was taken in the common area at PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest. The girls I came with and I were enjoying the sunshine, chatting, and taking pictures together. We thought the scenery was super cute, so we decided it was the perfect spot to capture the moment!

It was spontaneous, and I love that it reminds me of a day spent enjoying fitness, friendship, and good energy.

Please share a little about your fitness journey. What inspired you to get started, and what keeps you motivated?

My fitness journey started when I was young. I grew up playing soccer, doing gymnastics, drill team, track and field, and competitive cheerleading. Being active was always part of my life, but after graduating, I took a break from sports and fitness.

Later, I decided to have a BBL. At the time, my goal was to achieve the body I had always envisioned for myself. Through that experience, I realized fitness still had an important place in my journey. Building strength, staying consistent, and taking care of my body became part of maintaining my results. That’s why I started my fitness page, The Miss Fit BBL, to encourage women, especially those who have had cosmetic surgery, to make their wellness an ongoing priority.

Today, what keeps me motivated goes beyond how I look. It’s proving to myself that I can follow through on the goals I set, even when I’m tired or dealing with a lot emotionally. I think about my future self, how I want to feel, how I want to look, and how I want to show up for myself. That keeps me going.

Fitness challenges me, and the determination I build through it carries into every other area of my life. I want other women to see that they can keep showing up for themselves, too. I’m really just putting on for the girls!

We believe fitness + friendship = FUN! What’s your favorite group fitness workout?

My current favorite is Get Down Stay Down, a step class instructed by EJ. I love doing step! Another class I’ve recently been loving is Bricks at Effect Fitness on the south side of Atlanta. Those are my top two right now.

I enjoy trying different group workouts, too. Oh My Glutes! is another great class I’ve taken. Although I haven’t been in a while, it’s definitely one I enjoy. Having different classes to choose from keeps fitness fun and gives me something to look forward to!

Nutrition is an important part of wellness. What’s your go-to pre-workout meal, and how do you refuel afterward?

Lately, my go-to pre-workout breakfast has been two eggs, rice, and ground turkey or ground lamb. I like having carbs and protein before training because that combination helps me feel fueled and ready to work!

Afterward, I usually reach for fruit, whether it’s an apple, peach, grapefruit, or pear. I love fruit! Water is my go-to throughout the day, and I especially enjoy Propel for hydration before, during, and after my workouts.

What’s one item you always keep in your gym bag?

Definitely my tripod! I’m a content girly, so I have to be ready to capture the workout. But a close second is my lip-plumping gloss. I may be breaking a sweat, but I’m still keeping the lips popping!

What are your top three favorite fitness Instagram accounts to follow?

Honestly, choosing just three is hard for me! I love supporting fitness creators, especially Black fitness content creators. Everyone brings something different, whether it’s their energy, their story, or their approach to movement, and I appreciate that variety.

I don’t have a set top three. I’m cheering for the whole fitness community!

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

People might be surprised by how sweet, caring, and goofy I am once they get to know me! I’ve been told my appearance can seem intimidating, but I’m truly a girl’s girl. I’ll root for you, celebrate you, and support you because I know how much it means to feel supported. I’m a softie about that. I’ll definitely shed a tear when someone shows up for me!

I can be chill and laid-back, and I usually observe a room before jumping into a conversation. But once I’m comfortable, I’m outgoing, funny, and ready to have a good time. I try to give people the same kindness and encouragement I’d love to receive.

What are three goals you hope to accomplish in life?

  1. My first goal is to build a thriving community centered on beauty, health, wealth, and fitness, with a focus on educating and empowering the Black community. I want to create a space where we can share knowledge, support one another, and grow together.
  2. My second goal is to travel the world, experience different cultures, see new places, and expand my perspective beyond what I already know.
  3. My third goal is to leave a lasting impact. I want my name to be spoken in rooms long after I’m gone because of the people I helped and the difference I made. I don’t have every step figured out yet, but I know I want to build something that lives beyond me.

What do the words PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT mean to you?

To me, PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT means community. It’s women of every shape, size, and ethnicity coming together to support each other’s fitness journeys and push one another toward our fullest potential. We’re sweaty, but we’re still pretty because that sweat is our glow!

It means showing up for yourself and for the women around you, especially those who might feel intimidated or don’t know where to start. Sometimes having someone say, “Come with me,” can make all the difference.

Through that encouragement, we build relationships that can reach far beyond a workout. You never know how the women you meet might change your life, or how you might change theirs. That’s what PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT embodies to me: women empowering women and bringing each other along.

Since we’re talking about sweat, what’s your favorite deodorant?

Degree is my OG staple. I’ve used it forever! But lately, I stepped outside my usual routine and tried Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, and I’ve been loving it, too. It smells so good! So Degree is my longtime go-to, and Cashmere Mist is my newer favorite.

How can readers connect with you on social media?

You can connect with me on Instagram through my main page, @a.lizzylook, and my fitness page, @mrsfitbbl!

I’m also a makeup artist with over 10 years of experience, so follow @a.lizzylookstudios for my makeup work. And for all the cute workout outfits, come find me on TikTok at @lizzylooks2!

Between her love for a good step class, her must-have lip gloss, and her tripod that’s always ready to capture the action, Jessica brings plenty of personality to the fitness space. But beyond the cute workout sets and gym content is a woman who’s serious about personal growth and making a meaningful impact.

What makes her story especially relatable is her willingness to embrace every part of her journey. She’s not asking women to follow one definition of beauty or fitness. Instead, she’s encouraging them to discover what makes them feel strong, confident, and fulfilled while making room for others to do the same.

With dreams of building a community that connects beauty, health, wealth, and fitness, Jessica is thinking far beyond her next workout. And if there’s one takeaway from her story, it’s that confidence isn’t about fitting into anyone else’s expectations. It’s about becoming everything you’re capable of being and having the courage to bring your girls along for the ride.
