Empower Yoga: A Celebration of Strength, Sisterhood & Sweat

PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT brought together a powerhouse group of Atlanta’s top women in wellness for Empower Yoga—an exclusive event designed to inspire, connect, and uplift through movement, conversation, and community.

On Sunday, February 23rd, a select group of women gathered at CorePower Yoga for a transformative afternoon of movement, mindfulness, and motivation. PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT welcomed each guest with open arms, guiding them to their assigned lockers—each personalized with custom name tags.

Inside, they discovered PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT bags filled with New Balance gear and a signature PGS tank for the special workout. To ensure their post-sweat glow was covered, Glossier gift bags packed with beauty essentials were also waiting.

After changing into their new gear, including Gymwraps in the signature PGS teal color, the women mingled over refreshing green juices served in custom PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT cups, setting the stage for an empowering panel discussion.

Led by PGS founder Aeshia DeVore Branch, the conversation featured Dr. Phyllis Pobee, who joined us from Canada to shared insights from her new book and inspiring 100-pound weight loss journey. The discussion continued with Def Jam recording artist Jai’Len Josey, who revealed her secrets to staying active despite a busy career.

A Room Full of Powerhouses

Each sweat sister—leaders in fitness, beauty, wellness, and entrepreneurship—introduced themselves, strengthening connections before stepping into the warm yoga studio with rows of mats covered with PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT towels.

There, they embarked on a Yoga Sculpt session led by Carlee Soeder, blending movement, mindfulness, and the sounds of Jai’Len Josey’s music. The energy in the room was electric—women uplifting women, sweat dripping, spirits soaring.

The guest list was filled with powerhouse women, each making an impact in their respective fields, including:

  • Fitness leaders like Brittany Thompson (@trampoleanfitness), Brittany Spencer (@bounced.back.britt), Brandy Johnson (@simplybe_fitness), and Kelli Riles (@flatbellikelli), who continue to inspire others through movement.
  • Wellness and beauty entrepreneurs like Brianna Arps (@briannaarps, @moodeauxofficial), Leticia Gardner (@leticiamariegardner), Shanelle Clark (@shanellemonet), and Leiana Oliver (@body.slei), who prioritize self-care and holistic well-being.
  • Influencers and content creators such as Dayna Bolden (@daynabolden), Donni Wiggins (@donniwiggins_), Lauren Simpson @iamthelaurenelise, and Celene Craig (@celenealexandria), who use their platforms to empower and educate.
  • Health professionals like Dr. LaSonya Lopez (@hotdoc_lopez) and Dr. Phyllis Pobee (@genelean360), who bridge the gap between medicine and lifestyle.

A Challenge to Empower

Former college basketball player and content creator Dayna Bolden connects with fitness leader Brittany Spencer to share what’s keeping them motivated in 2025.

To kick off Women’s History Month, attendees were challenged to amplify one another by partnering up and committing to an Instagram Live conversation with the sweat sister they were paired with during the “word of the year” icebreaker. The message was clear: empowered women empower women—not just in the studio, but beyond.
