PGS Founder Aeshia DeVore Branch Reveals How She Balances Building a Fitness Empire With a Busy Personal Life
March 20, 2019 • By Aeshia
In episode 20 of The PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Show, founder Aeshia DeVore Branch talks about her journey to creating a fitness movement aimed toward eliminating childhood obesity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle while being a busy entrepreneur and mom of three girls.
Aeshia is living her dream. The social entrepreneur, born in Queens, NY, makes fitness fun, affordable and accessible for busy women while uniting and empowering girls in college to be health leaders on their campuses and in their communities.
The alarming childhood obesity epidemic along with the void of entertaining yet positive fitness content and fitness events for female students (13-22) and young professionals (22 and up) led to the conception and rapid growth of her passionate venture.
In this episode, PGS Reporter Paytra Gessler has a one-on-one with the dedicated wellness curator and discovers how she balances her personal and professional life, the workouts that keep her in shape, and so much more! Take a listen to learn more about the PGS founder!

What she wishes she could go back and tell herself when she first launched PGS:
“I would tell myself that I should celebrate every win and really celebrate it. I was always thinking about the next thing. I think it is important to keep striving to keep growing and to keep doing better each and every day. But when we don’t take the time to reflect on what we’ve already done, it’s kind of sad because every step that you’ve taken on your journey should be celebrated and should be something that you’re proud of. Even though we’re always trying to outdo ourselves because we’re our own biggest competition, I just wish I would have taken more time to reflect on those wonderful things. Most recently, we were going through our website and updating all of our sweat shows from over the years and that was a moment for me to really reflect and say “Wow, we’ve really done a lot.”
