Acceptance speeches during PRETTY GIRL SWEAT’s annual SWEATlebrity Awards have a reputation for being uplifting, emotional, and inspirational all at the same time.
Since it’s not often that fitness influencers get celebrated for changing lives, is it any surprise that these women understand the assignment?

Halani Lobdell – Fitness Entrepreneur
Halani Lobdell is a 39-year-old wife of 19 years to her HS Sweetheart Jason and mom to Rylie, 16, and Kingston, 13. She served 18 years with a Dekalb County Fire Rescue and retired at the rank of Battalion Chief on March 10, 2021. She’s the owner of BodyNV, LLC, a luxury Athleisure company that caters to women of all walks of life. She recently became an author of her ebook “Boss to Bawse” teaching how to start a successful business and transition from a “9-5” to full-time entrepreneur. She recently started her mentorship Bawse University aiding entrepreneurs to establish flourishing 6-7 figure businesses. Halani lives by the motto “how you do everything is how you do anything!”
Keaira Lashae – Fitness Entrepreneur
Keaira LaShae is a singer/dancer turned CEO, author, and successful serial entrepreneur who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as well as health/wellness and fitness space with over 2 million supporters and over 200 million views across social media. Keaira is also the creator of Just Move Supplements, a tasty vegan protein line that has gone viral and is on the kitchen counters of countless families. She also has “MOVE” an online gym with a variety of fun dance workouts that has helped women all over the world lose over a total of 1 million pounds.
Mecca Day – Founder, Oh My Glutes!
Mecca Day is a 25-year-old Atlanta Based Entrepreneur, The Owner of “Oh My Glutes!”, a Fitness Instructor, an Influencer & a New Mom. She was the Workout Coordinator at Georgia State University Chapter in 2017-18, where she studied Exercise Science.
Rashan Ali – Multi-media Personality
Rashan Ali is a multi-media personality, actor, author, and philanthropist from Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of FAMU, Rashan has done radio & television since 2002, most recently on TV One’s “Sister Circle.”
She is the founder of Sporty Girls, Inc: The Cool Soror Podcast and Brand and The Coach’s Daughter Production Company. You can see her on the new series, “All The Queen’s Men” which is streaming on BET Plus.
Rashan is an AKA and is married to Bri-an Smith. They have two daughters, Bailey and Carter.
Sanya Richards-Ross – 4x Olympic Gold Medalist
Sanya Richards-Ross is a 4-time Olympic gold medalist and the fastest American woman to ever run the 400m. Named Athlete of the Decade 2000-2009 and two times the World Athlete of the Year, Sanya has now retired from the track but is still sprinting towards greatness. As a Mom, brand ambassador, TV Personality, Author, and Entrepreneur, Sanya now invests her time in her family and several entrepreneurial endeavors including a multi-media lifestyle & advocacy platform curated specifically for black moms.
Veronica Vega – International Entertainer / Humanitarian
Veronica Vega is an international entertainer and humanitarian. She’s best known for her songs Wicked feat Pitbull, Pay Me, and A million feat Quavo. She’s the star of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop Miami and the owner of A2MIA; a cross-state bicycle ride from Atlanta, Ga to Miami, FL.
