Keri Hilson and OMG Celebrate PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT’s 3rd Year Anniversary in Atlanta
September 27, 2014 • By PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Grammy-nominated recording artist Keri Hilson and teen queens, OMG hosted a PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT BASKETBALL AND DOUBLE DUTCH AEROBICS PARTY. The sweat show, which took place at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA in Atlanta, Georgia, brought in over 200 attendees including teen girls, tastemakers (including singer Tiffany Evans), mentors, and volunteers.
The fitness-fueled event started off with dynamic stretch exercises led by WNBA veteran Rushia Brown and fitness trainer Johnny Clarkson. As guests recharged from warm-up by drinking Hint water, they enjoyed up close and personal inspirational pep talks from PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT / SWEAT MAKES CENTS founder Aeshia DeVore Branch, Keri Hilson, and the OMG Girlz.
Soon after, it was time to work out! The hosts, mentors, volunteers, and teen guests participated in amazing activities such as Double Dutch Aerobics, basketball drills, and the SWEAT MAKES CENTS jumping jacks challenge that not only had their faces plastered with smiles but also had their bodies sweating.
After the festivities boiled down, girls were treated to PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT backpacks that included goodies from SkinnyPop Popcorn, Miss Jessie’s Hair Products, Colgate, and Kind Bars. Some lucky ladies scored raffle prizes such as Beats By Dre earphones, beauty products, and PGS swag that had them jumping for joy. An undeniable favorite prize of the afternoon were posters signed by host Keri Hilson.
