BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY
Our mission at PGSBU is driven by a powerful force – the desire to make fitness not just a routine but an exhilarating experience.
We aim to cultivate a community of active women at Binghamton University, uniting and empowering each other through fitness. We believe in breaking down the stereotypes surrounding sweat and demonstrating the strength, resilience, and beauty that it represents.
Membership in PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT promises a multitude of benefits. MEET the CAPTAIN: Nadia
(major: Philosophy, Politics, and Law)
“Greetings, My name is Nadia Nesredin, and I am honored to serve as the current captain of PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT for the 2025-2026 academic year. My journey with PGS has been truly heartwarming. I first began as an intern, then grew into the role of Workout Coordinator, and now I have the privilege of leading as captain of this beautiful organization.
I have always loved physical activity. My father enrolled me in all types of sports growing up to help me stay active. As a child who was on the heavier side, I gained perspective early on about the importance of wellness and movement. Because our mission is to fight childhood obesity, this cause is deeply personal to me. I was once in those shoes.
At the Binghamton chapter of PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT, we prioritize empowering college women to see that fitness can be fun and accessible, even in spaces like the gym that are often male-dominated. For students who want to join, be sure to follow along with our weekly Sweat Shows on our Instagram page.
The benefits of being part of this sisterhood are endless. You will learn healthy ways to stay consistent in the gym, build stronger habits around nutrition, and gain a community of like-minded women who are here to support and uplift you. Our organization is all about making women feel comfortable, confident, and capable.”
IMPORTANT: Membership is open for 24 hours only on these four specific dates each academic year:
- September 1
- October 1
- November 1
Be sure to select Binghamton University on your membership form so our team captain is notified about your sign-up, and you can pick up your T-shirt on campus. We can’t wait to make fitness fun with you!
