Being in ATL has its perks...like being able to work with PGS and attend cool fitness parties! This past weekend, I was able to join NIKE for their Future Varsity event on Sunday. Not only was I able to hear from the likes of Amandla Stenberg and Ray McElroy through inspiring Q&As and breakout sessions, but I was also able to participate in a HIIT workout with Nike Master Trainers. The amazing part of PGS is that it exposes you to workouts you may have never tried before. So, on Sunday I was able to work out on the indoor football field at the College Football Hall of Fame for an hour-long sweat session with Traci Copeland and Ariel Fox. We ran through so many different drills and got to even do some partner workouts. I was nervous about trying a workout I had never done before, but the trainers and the people around me made me comfortable enough to go for it and I really enjoyed myself. It felt good to be putting my new year's resolution of working out more into action. I have to admit...I'm still sore though!
