Journal entry:
L.I.S.S (low-intensity steady state) cardio is my new focus. I'm always searching for new tools and programs that are developing in the fitness industry. It's important to stay on top of trends, and I like to try them out to see if I can help others. This is a constant speed of low-intensity cardio, and it's proven to preserve muscle while burning fat. Too much high-intensity cardio is likely to begin burning muscles as well, and that's very unwanted by people whose goal is to gain weight in muscle while staying lean. It's truly a different experience from regular cardio. It seems like it may not be hard but it really gets you sweating: and it sounds strange, but I feel my body in the fat burning zone way more (don't ask how I can tell, I just can!). It's easy to put on a Netflix show or watch youtube videos and complete this cardio. I'm thinking to write an article about it next month after I continue trying it!
