California has done me well! I love the nature and slow pace that everyone embodies there. At the same time, it makes me thankful for my fast and furious NYC-style life.
I really enjoyed this hike, but it was really difficult, as you could imagine! Hills really get your calves fired up and I'm not really used to it since I live on the East Coast and the hardest "hill" I climb is the Subway stairs. Nonetheless, I worked up a huge appetite, so a steak dinner on the grill was well-needed! I enjoyed spending some time in the sun before getting back to the wintery east!
