Summer break is here but don’t forget that breakfast is STILL the most important meal of the day. Morning meals fuel us with energy from good sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fiber. The body needs these essential nutrients and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day. Here’s a quick, delicious and fiber filled meal idea that anyone can whip up! We can't get enough of adding a variety of healthy toppings to yogurt. It’s like starting your morning with a sundae. 
 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Trader Joe’s Mango & Cream Yogurt
1/4 cup strawberries
2 Tbsp blackberries
1 Tbsp sliced almonds. 
1 Tbsp granola
 
This yogurt bowl is only 230 calories and takes less than 5 minutes to make!
 
Trader Joe’s yogurt is affordable and pretty damn good, but opt for a sugar-free Greek yogurt to cut 40 calories, limit sugar, and boost your protein intake.
