The weather plays a major role in how we look. Whether it is dryness, chapped lips, or rough skin, we cannot escape the harsh realities of mother nature. And as winter quickly approaches, the cold weather continues to increasingly take a toll on our skin. To avoid becoming a victim of cold temperatures, we discovered three DIY beauty recipes that will perfect your skin without hurting your pockets.
1. CRANBERRY LIP STAIN
Cranberries do not only taste good, they also moisturize the lips while giving them a tinted hue. Before you spend money on Shea butter or coconut oil, try this cranberry treatment.
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp shea butter
1 tsp freeze dried cranberry powder
½ tsp beeswax pellets (optional- beeswax pellets provide a more firmer texture)
In a small pan/pot warm the oil and beeswax pellets until the consistency is smooth

Whip the ingredients occasionally to stop separation
Add in the cranberry powder
Pour into small container or mason jar
