Superbowl Guacamole: A Potluck Party Recipe Anyone Can Make!


It's official!!! The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots will be battling it out in Houston for the Superbowl 2017 championship title. If you've been invited to a potluck party, here is a super simple dish you can whip up that will make that will satisfy the sports fanatics in between plays.


1-1/2 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
1/2 lime, juiced 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup diced onion
1 tablespoon
1-1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 Roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional) (makes 2 servings)


1. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt.
2. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir in cayenne pepper.
3. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
