STYLE CRUSH : Zoe Kravitz

Zoë Kravitz is cool, and by cool we mean really cool. But we expected nothing less considering the fact that she’s the daughter of one of the most iconic parental duos ever. Hopefully we’d be just as cool as Zoë if we, too, called Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, Mom and Dad.

As offspring of the über talented duo, Zoë has yet to disappoint us, especially in terms of style.
First, we must mention that Zoë can wear nearly anything and make it look good. There’s a confidence and sureness present in each of her style choices and we definitely admire that. Her style is very relaxed, edgy, and certainly her own. We’re sure she’s borrowed a few pieces here and there from her parents’ wardrobes (we certainly would too). Zoë has a knack for mixing basics or minimal pieces with more elaborate / staple pieces (see gallery). She also nails the effortless look. Zoë is usually spotted well accessorized and in neutral tones with a great pair of boots.

Her unique appearance and unique style choices won over her longtime fashion pal Alexander Wang. She is often seen on the front row at his shows and she was also the face of one of his campaigns for his T by Alexander Wang line.

Zoë is great at keeping a low profile when she’s not acting in films or performing on stage with her band Lolawolf. We can’t wait to see what she’s up to next.

If you love Zoë as much as we do, check her out in Divergent and download Lolawolf’s debut EP titled Lolawolf here.

TEEN REPORTER (Style) | Christa is from the Motor City, aka Detroit, MI. The 18 year-old is currently studying at Pace University and living in New York City. When it comes to her relationship with fashion, it's actually quite simple. She admires well-made pieces, a minimal color palate, and designers such as Alexander Wang, Phoebe Philo, and Jenna Lyons. Fashion wasn't always her main interest though… basketball was her first love. When she's not writing about style or picking through the pages of i-D or Vogue, you can find her at the nearest television awaiting Kobe Bryant's triumphant return. But don't let her style fool you. She'll ditch her favorite Chelsea boots anytime for a pair of Jordan 1s and a quick game of one-on-one.
