Singing Sensations Sofia Carson, Jack & Jack, Alex Aiono (and more) Partner with Tennis Athlete Novak Djokovic for 2017 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day


The 22nd annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day is going to bigger and better than ever this year. This 2017 festivities will take place on August 26th at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY, from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. The day-long event is set to be a festival of tennis, music, and fun, and will honor the legacy of legendary tennis pioneer Arthur Ashe. It also marks the start of the 2017 US Open, which runs from August 28th – September 10th.

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day will also serve as the official launch of the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) newest youth initiative Net Generation. The USTA’s bold new youth brand aims to unite and inspire the next generation of tennis players by offering kids easily accessible equipment and lesson plans. Kids will be able to try out Net Generation tennis during the free Grounds Festival. Two-time US Open Tennis Champion Novak Djokovic will also be in attendance to celebrate USTA's new program and the history of tennis.

In addition to sports, the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day will be providing live entertainment for all attendees. The event has secured a star-studded lineup which includes the star of the Disney Descendants franchise, Sofia Carson, and world-renowned music acts, Alex Aiono, Jack & Jack, New Hope Club, and Saving Forever. The global singing sensations will be performing during the free Grounds Festival from 9:30 AM- 12:30 PM as well as during the 1 PM -3 PM ticketed Stadium show.
