Not having extra cash to buy your family members everything on their wish lists is expected and understood but that doesn’t mean you can’t get them superb gifts at the last minute. Save yourself some stress and check out these five ways to shop without breaking your bank:

1. Find the Right discount

It’s always great to shop for gifts when you can get a discount so if a store is having a sale; it wouldn't hurt to be the first in line. The key to taking advantage of different deals is making sure that it’s the right deal for you. If it’s not an item on someone’s wishlist, then you might want to consider your other options.

2. Check it out on Amazon

If you only bring cash with you when going to shop for gifts, you can save even more money. Plan the amount of money you wish to spend on each gift for friends and family members. By bringing cash, you won’t be tempted to swipe your card for an item that costs $5, $10, or 20 dollars above your budget.
