PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT celebrated eight years of making fitness fun with a co-ed teen skate party on Saturday, September 28, 2019. The “Roll Up” themed skating event, hosted by youth media correspondent Dai Time, was held at the Sparkles Family Fun Center in Smyrna, GA during childhood obesity awareness month.
The first 200 teens to arrive received free admission, complimentary skate rentals, gift bags filled with African Pride's Black Castor Miracle hair products, and were entered to win a free pair of skates from @skatesout.com as well as cash prizes from @sweatmakescents! A portion of the proceeds from PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest ATLANTA 2019 were used to fund the popular party with a purpose. Talented teens even stopped by to meet and greet guests including dancer Jené Marie, actor Tyler Marcel Williams (The Bobby Brown Story), actor Myles Truitt (The New Edition story, Queen Sugar), and Jasmine Stewart (Winner of FOX's MasterChef Junior Season 5).
