Meet Jewelry Designer turned Beauty Entrepreneur Kristen Noel Crawley

When it comes to all things beauty and health, Kristen Noel Crawley, the fabulous 30-year-old mother of two, is queen bee. The Elle magazine columnist and jewelry designer is adding beauty entrepreneur to her list of occupations after releasing a highly popular, invigorating lip mask made from a formula of rose flower oil, cherry extract, and Vitamin E. The mask ($24.99), which has been seen on Kim Kardashian West, hydrates and plumps the lips, acting as a primer for all of your favorite lip shades. KNC Beauty prides itself on being all natural, meaning there are no chemicals, sulfates, or parabens in their products. Likewise, for all the animal lovers out there, you can rest assured that no harm was done to any animals in the production of these products. That’s right! KNC does not do animal testing.

No surprise, then, that we couldn't wait to pick her brain about all things beauty — from the advice she'd give her younger self to her tips for flawless skin, we learned so much about the beauty obsessed entrepreneur.

How did you first get interested in nutrition and beauty?

It started 10 years ago when I moved to LA, when I was younger I didn't realize how many options there were for proper food choices, drinks and beauty products.

What is the best beauty advice that you have received?

Take care of your inside for a beautiful outside.

How do you stay active with a busy schedule?

I have two young boys - they keep me very active.

Is there a beauty mistake you have made in the past?

Absolutely, so many that I can't even begin to start! It's all a learning process and I highly suggest seeing a licensed dermatologist. They can suggest the right routine for you and dispel all the common mistakes and myths regarding beauty.

What would you describe true beauty as?

Character- it's how you treat those who cannot do anything for you.

How do you stay motivated and inspired to live a healthy lifestyle?

If I don't eat healthy my body reacts and I feel sick. For me it's about living longer and seeing my children and grandchildren grow up, that's all the incentive I need.

If you could only pick one makeup product to wear for the rest of your life what would it be?:

Foundation with SPF 50 built in!

What are your tips for flawless looking skin?

Washing your face every night. Exfoliating 3 times a week. Eye cream. Lots of water.

What is your favorite form of exercise?:

Walking. I love to walk my baby around the neighborhood.

What is your go-to healthy snack?

Sun butter and celery

What would you tell your younger self about maintaining your health?:

Stop eating McDonalds!
