PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT’s October photo contest winner, Bre Leach, uses her social media platform to inspire and motivate girls to live a healthy lifestyle. From personal training to hosting boot camp sessions, she embodies the true essence of our mission here at Pretty Girls Sweat! Luckily for us, we were able to catch up with Leach to chat about her fitness journey and so much more.

Tell us how your winning photo came about?

I will say that I was super shocked to even see my picture on your page!! I had the biggest smile all day! I've been following PGS for a while now and I love what the brand stands for! It's just crazy to see my picture on the page! After I saw the contest, I immediately shared the post with my friends and family on Instagram, Facebook, and  in several group texts! Lol! I owe my win to the voters. They came through and showed out for little ol' me! I really appreciate the support. If I could hug them all right now, I would!

Please briefly share your fitness journey with us.

My fitness journey has been full of fun, lots of sweating, new experiences, new relationships, and social media! I've always been into fitness and sports since grade school. I was always on the basketball court, the tennis court, or the track as a little girl. I enjoy movement! My fitness journey is one that I will never quit on. It's what I love the most.

We believe fitness + friendship = FUN! What is your favorite group fitness workout?

My favorite group fitness workout would be cycling or mountain climbing! I love being outdoors in the summer! Riding bikes through the city is always fun!

While working out is important, so is eating the right foods. What is your go-to pre-workout meal?

My go to pre-workout meal choices are fruit and peanut butter, protein shake, or nuts and dried fruit mix. Right after a workout, I refuel with a protein shake, a salad, or Smoothie King!

What is one item that is always in your gym bag?

You will always find a pair of headphones in my bag! The music gets me going!

What are your top 3 fitness Instagram accounts to follow?

That's a tough question because I love so many! So, of course, I love to follow @prettygirlssweat, but I would have to go with @massy.arias, @nikewomen, and @msjeanettejenkins! I admire Massy and Jeanette for their talent, their way of making exercise fun, and their passion for fitness! Nike is my favorite clothing brand, and I would love to be a Nike Woman one day!

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

When I have free time, I love going to the gun range!

What are your top three goals you hope to accomplish in life?

1. Build a brand that will reach the young and the old, across the world!
2. Become a Nike Woman!!
3. Travel the world and share fitness with everyone!

What does PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT mean to you?

A PRETTY GIRL  is bold and brilliant. She's confident in herself and dreams big. She lives life on her own terms and appreciates the mistakes she's made, Knowing they will only prepare her for the future. But when pretty girls SWEAT, they believe in healthy living! They believe in longevity! They believe in running and completing a 5K at 60-years -old! They believe the body is a temple! PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT encourages all the beautiful girls in the world to take care of themselves! PGS makes fitness fun and it encourages us to sweat as a unit, which is amazing. I appreciate the unity PGS brings.
