Meet the 7 PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest 2018 Team Captains

Big news! Our annual sweat sisterhood meetup, PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest, is under a month away. On Sept. 15, over 700 women from around the country will land in beautiful Atlanta, GA at the Georgia Freight Depot to celebrate the most inspiring SWEATlebrities, sample some of the hottest new workouts, and receive access to healthy food trucks, a beauty bar, and complimentary swag. Yes, you read that right — it's about to go down.

To lead our sweat sisters throughout each fitness experience, we’ve brought on seven awesome women who've built impressive personal brands all by promoting healthy, fit lifestyles. Below, get to know the team tasked with keeping us pumped during the magical day, and get ready to crush it. 

1. Laeann Amos-Reed

Media personality and fitness influencer Laeann Amos-Reed has made quite a name for herself as an all-around girl boss. Between training celebs and transforming bodies, the bestselling author of "A Complete Guide to a Sexier, Healthier You" stays busy designing athleisure gear for the fitness apparel line Gymni and hosting at Access Vibe TV.  

2. Sadia Yansaneh

 

Sadia Yansaneh is a former track athlete at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Yansaneh is currently a personal trainer and fitness influencer with a following of 78K and counting.

3. Christina “Ms. Basketball” Granville

Christina Granville is a veteran model/actress who many refer to as "Ms. Basketball" because of her unyielding passion for the sport and fitness itself. In 2010, Granville signed on to play at Saint Leo University where she became team captain and ultimately earned herself a spot on the "Who's Who in America amongst College 100 Athletes" list. 

4. Chelcie Scott

Mother, performance coach, and avid traveler are just a few of the many titles Chelcie Scott holds. The former athlete turned popular fitness influencer keeps gym lovers motivated day after day with her helpful workout guides and empowering photos/videos from her live training sessions. 

5. Zakia Blain

Zakia Blain is a certified personal trainer, weight loss coach, and successful entrepreneur. After struggling with her own bout of health-related issues, Blain launched the renowned fitness brand FCKbeingFAT to help inspire others as they shed pounds and lead active lives. Since then, she's challenged thousands who together have lost close to 100,000 pounds in five years without fad diets, pills, or other trendy solutions.

6. Jessica Laine

After attending Spelman College and recognizing how many of her peers struggled with their weight, Jessica Laine felt inclined to inspire a change and entered the fitness industry. Throughout her career as a certified health professional, Jessica has made an impact on people of all ages — most specifically via the training platform Fight For Your Life and the former First Lady Michelle Obama's "Building a Healthier Future" initiative. 

7. Julia Eze

Julia Eze is a well-decorated medical professional with degrees from both Georgia State University (Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing) and Mercer University (Master of Science in Nursing). Aside from working as a board-certified, registered nurse and nurse practitioner, Eze is also the founder of The Nurse Link — a social site that connects current, future, and aspiring nurses for mentorship and scholarship.

SWEATLEBRITY REPORTER | Olivia Hancock is is currently a sophomore at Georgia State University. The 19-year-old has loved writing ever since she can remember and her passion for it has allowed her to hold the title of PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT Teen Reporter for five consecutive terms. In addition, Olivia has had the opportunity to work with Her Campus, Aeropostale and Nordstrom as an ambassador. Her writing has been published on xoNecole, 21 Ninety, Her Campus, One MusicFest, and The Life Currency. In the future, Olivia plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and pursue a professional career as a writer at a lifestyle publication.
