Changing up your workout routine is essential for each and every person’s fitness journey. I know that we all love to cling to workouts that are in our comfort zone, but in order for you to see real change you have to change it up! Because if you don’t, not only are you going to get tired of the same routine, your body is going to hit a plateau. We need to consistently shock our bodies so it doesn’t get used to the same old exercises.
I experienced a plateau after about three months of the same routine. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays were circuit training, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays were all cardio focused. I eventually hit a point where I needed a change.
I discovered an incredible gym called F45 (Functional Training) and I fell in love! Their workouts are fun, intense, and quick! Since I have such a busy schedule I can't spend hours in the gym, and all of F45’s workouts are…45 minutes! They focus on HIIT (high-intensity interval training) exercises, which I absolutely love. And not only are their workouts challenging, but so much fun!
