On July 24, 2019, Beyoncé uploaded a video onto her YouTube channel titled "Beyonce – 22 Days Nutrition". The video begins with a glimpse of Queen Bey standing before a scale, which she dubbed "every woman's nightmare". She states that it is the first day of her Coachella Rehearsals, and weighs in at 175 lbs even. She then lets us know that she has a long way to go until she reaches her goal, but offers a courageous and determined "Let's get it!"
Beyoncé's Coachella diet was orchestrated by Marco Borges— a trainer, exercise physiologist, and New York Times Bestselling Author. He dubs the program as "22-Day Nutrition", which is a 100% plant-based diet that Bey followed for 44 days on top of her already grueling dance rehearsals to increase her results. In the video, Borges speaks of the plan promisingly, saying "You will definitely have more energy, you will definitely sleep better, you will definitely have improved complexions, and your whole mood is gonna change completely."
