FILL IN THE BLANK: Personal Trainer Bre Leach Shares Her Healthy Habits

Category:

Bre Leach, 27, can be found giving a daily dose of fitspiration on her inspiring Instagram profile @justbnfit_. When offline, Bre's fitness journey is full of fun: lots of sweating, new experiences, and new relationships! "I've always been into fitness and sports since grade school," says Bre. "I was always on the basketball court, the tennis court, or the track as a little girl." Now as a personal trainer she still enjoys movement and has turned being active into a career.

I fell into fitness when…

I completed my internship at Pur Energy Fitness in Greensboro, NC in undergrad. I fell in love with interacting with people through exercise. What I loved most is hearing the success stories from people I worked with. It could be as simple as adding more weight or seeing the weight loss. I enjoyed teaching and instructing seniors to young athletes. I think my internship is what sparked my love for fitness.

The part of my personality that I get from my mom is…

her sense of humor. She is a character, but one that you would enjoy! I've shared moments with my mom on social media, and people just love her! And I have to agree :)

In my gym bag, you’ll always find…

my headphones! The jams set the tone!

One beauty product I can’t live without is…

my Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mask! Makes my skin feel and look good! Oh, and I can't forget about my Burt's Bees Vanilla Bean Lip Balm....LOVE! : )

When I’m stressed out, I just tell myself…

"it's only temporary...just breathe, because it could be worse." As I get older, I've become a little more conscious of what I complain about and what I stress over. We can't allow ourselves to get so wrapped up in things we can't control. We have to get through it, knowing better is coming.

I like to post fitness photos on social media because…

I believe it motivates people to care more about their health and shows my passion for living a healthy lifestyle! I think fitness photos are my favorite images to take!

My top health regret is…

lack of sleep. That's a big part of taking care of yourself. Still a work in progress!

The nicest thing I’ve ever done for my body…

let it soak and rest! My weeks are pretty hectic. I'm always on the go, so I know my body appreciates a good soak and plenty rest!

My self-care practice is…

a mid-day unplug. At random moments in my day, I try to unplug from the world just to reset. There have been days where I've worked from sun up to sun down, but never actually enjoyed "me time". Hasn't always been that way, but I'm getting better!

To stick with a workout…

I generally mix things up! I like to take a simple movement and add a twist to it! I think I'm consistent because I get creative. I see a lot of fitness trainers that take the basics and spice it up a little. And it motivates me to do the same!

My favorite quote is...

The biggest mistake you could ever make is being afraid to make one.
