COCOA KISS: Actor – Trevor Jackson

The cocoa brown cutie Trevor Jackson takes the latest spot for Cocoa Kiss. The August born actor is known for his role as the autistic, but intelligent Kevin Blake in Syfy’s comedy/drama Eureka (season 4 and 5), and asKris McDuffy in Disney’s hit movie Let It shine. Trevor is definitely shining; the 16 year old’s diverse roles, voice, talent, and charm is what makes him cocoa kissable. Want to know more about Trevor? Check out my interview with him.

What are some of your hobbies and talents other than acting?
Trevor: I'm a singer, songwriter and I dance. I also play basketball and the African Brazilian Martial Art of Capoeira.

How did you get into acting?
Trevor: It started from dancing, then one thing led to another when I was 7 yrs old and we went on a dance trip in NYC. They told my Mom to put me in anything but dance when we got back home since they already knew I could do that. I auditioned for the local Beef & Boards Christmas show and got the lead. After that, I was blessed to be Young Simba in Broadway Show of The Lion King for three years and I have been acting ever since.

Who do you look up too?
Trevor: I definitely look up to Michael Jackson. He inspired me to become an entertainer. I also admire his passion to always give back and make the world a better place.

What do you look for in a girl?
 Trevor: I look for a girl who is not afraid to be herself and doesn't really care about the material things. I like girls that live in the moment.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Trevor: Meagan Good, even though she just got married... sadly lol.

What is one quote that keeps you motivated?
Trevor: When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me." ---Erma Bombeck

What is a fact no one knows about you, if it’s not too personal?
Trevor: I can't go to sleep at night without the TV on.

Where are some of your favorite places to hang out or shop?
Trevor: I don't really like to shop, but I don't mind going to Game Stop. I like hanging out at the basketball court, the beach and the movies.

What if you weren't an actor, what do you see yourself being?
Trevor: A basketball player.

What are some movies or shows you would like to have a role in?
Trevor: I would love to be in Think Like a Man 2, CSI, Avengers or something really action packed.

What are some of your major turn offs in a girl?
Trevor: Too many insecurities, girls that change who they are to fit in and a girl that doesn't have her own opinion.

Who are some actors you would like to work with?
Trevor: Some actors I would love to work with are Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Sean Penn, Tom Hardy, Robert DeNiro and many more...

Do you have any siblings; if so are any of them into the entertainment business too?
Trevor: My older brother Ian Jackson is a senior in college and he also does music. He has an incredible mixtape called The Take Off (DOWNLOAD HERE).

Do you have any movies or shows that you have a role in coming up?
Trevor: I do have a couple of episodes of Austin & Ally that should be airing soon. But right now I'm concentrating on music so I'm busy in the studio recording.
