Being a model, actress, and athlete requires you to be in tip-top shape! Can you describe your typical fitness routine?

My typical fitness routine includes cardio and dancing! I spend at least 45 minutes dancing everyday.

PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT is all about making fitness fun! Are there any exciting workout classes (Zumba, SoulCycle, etc.) that you love to participate in?

I enjoy doing Zumba. Zumba is a fun way to get in shape, learn some cool dance moves, and have a good time with others who love to dance as well.

Having such a busy schedule makes it even more important to eat right. What is your favorite go-to healthy meal?

Baked chicken, steamed vegetables, and a baked potato... Super easy, healthy, and quick to make.

Growing up, how important was fitness and nutrition to you and has that changed at all now?

Growing up, I never realized how important it was to eat healthy. I would want to eat any and everything. But as I got older and got more involved into fitness, I realized that nutrition and what you put into your body is very important.

You are affectionately know as "Ms Basketball." When did your love for basketball begin?

My love for basketball began when I was 10 years old.

You also were the captain of your collegiate basketball team. What was your experience like as a student athlete?

I went back to college at the age of 25. So all of my teammates were at least 3-6 years younger than me. Lol. Balancing basketball and a full course load wasn't easy. However, it was truly worth it! Study Hall was my best friend!

Whether you're getting ready to play basketball or trying to get pumped up for an acting gig, what are some songs you like to listen to for motivation?

I love EDM music... anything with a fast beat to get me going is my choice. My favorite song though is “Watch Me" by Silento. If you play that song, I'm totally pumped!!

You've been in over 50 runway shows and worked on sets for movies like Ride Along 2! What has been the biggest highlight of your career thus far?

The biggest highlight of my career would be... Being in a national print ad for Coca Cola. I'll never forget the day I saw my face on a huge poster in the store.. I couldn't stop smiling & crying. I kept saying, "Wow that's Me.. Omg.. That's Me!!" One of the best days of my life!!

In your industry, it's also important to maintain healthy skin. Can you share some of your beauty secrets?

Shea Butter and Coconut Oil are my best friends... At night, I use coconut oil to moisturize my face.. I use Shea Butter as my all over moisturizer!!! It is AMAZING... especially if you have dry skin like me.

Is there any advice you would share with other girls who want to break into modeling and acting like you have?

The best advice I can give is to be WHO YOU ARE at ALL TIMES!! Trust in yourself and work hard for what you want. It may not happen over night but KEEP working on your craft and no matter what, stay prayed up and know that God's Got your back!

What does PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT mean to you?

PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT means that although we may be pretty, we are not afraid to SWEAT! We must remind ourselves when taking care of our bodies, we'll feel better about ourselves and everyone knows that BEAUTY LIES FROM WITHIN!
