After months of less than ideal temperatures (depending on where you reside), nothing is more welcoming than fresh weather. And with warmer weather comes produce at its peak. Fruits are ripe and sweet, and fresh vegetables have the best flavor. According to Huffpost: Life, the spring isn’t just for produce. Protein-packed selections like eggs are the best in the springtime, along with fresh “spring chicken.”
 
Since some of our favorites have started to reach their peak, including these foods in our diet can improve our eating experience. Flavorful salads are on the spring food radar considering many of the ingredients are at perfection this time of year. Many people believe salad is limited to only vegetables; however, that is not the case. A salad can be a healthy mixture of vegetables and other ingredients like fruits, nuts, dressings, meat, and even pasta
 
While all those ingredients may not be in the best shape during the springtime, there are some that can create the best salad mixtures. With that being said, keep reading for salad recipes that compliment the spring season!
